First and foremost: I wanted to make this journal post to serve as a notice that my username is changing from equinoxialparadox  to CrazedClairebear. So if you're reading this after the name change, you now know who this mysterious girl who has appeared in your watch list is. 

CrazedClairebear has become the name I've adopted for my art and cosplay things, whereas equinoxialparadox is for personal things. DeviantArt will not be my main posting place, that will be my instagram and tumblr accounts. Here will be more of a means of helping my reach and posting completed works and such, so please follow those two if you are wanting to see WIP of either kind. Tumblr will also be a place I can share resources I find and also hope to help others in any way I can.

I'm also just gonna TL;DR my life update just because I'm sure no one wants to read me ramble on and on about things from the last couple of years. So, long story short:
I got back together with the love of my life, we moved out together and now reside in Maryland in the DMV, and I have a nice full time job to support my endeavors.

I just reliazed I'm about three months short of having updated in a year. There's quite a lot that has happened in what doesn't seem like a long period of time.

I guess I'll try to start in order of imporatance:

School: I'm not going to that one college I posted about last time. Last time I updated, I said I'd be going in January but that couldn't happen cause I couldn't get a hold of my highschool transcripts in time. Registrar was practically unreachable. So then a few weeks later I had everything worked out and then up until a few weeks ago, I had everything all sorted out and I was desperately waiting to go but I came to find out that even with a scholarship and financial aid it was gonna cost me a lot more than would be worth it (I'd have to pay like $450 a month throughout the year and right now I'm lucky to be making that much in a month while working with no school interference so imagine that ). And as of right now I can't go to community college cause of transportation issues so that shall be on hold for a bit. I'm just glad I at least know what I'd like to study now.
Work: Last update was about my two seasonal jobs, Old Navy kept me past the season, but Michaels did not. Which I was okay with cause even though I loved the art supplies and everything, Old Navy is an overall better job. However! I recently got a 2nd job again, now at Dollar Tree. Not the most glamorous of jobs, and I prefer Old Navy to it any day, but it'll definitely help me save up some money again.
Cosplay: I finally got to go to my first con and do my first cosplay! I did Blink from X-Men, her movie look. Unortunately I didn't get very many pictures, at least not ones I thought were worthy enough of submission to DA but my favorite picture from that day was this one, and I explain why in that post :3 I'm actually gonna update it and try to make her costume from scratch myself and actually add on her jacket embellishments. I finally learned my lesson in procrastination since I've discovered that cosplay and procrastination will not work out very well. But I definitely felt that cosplaying is something I'd wanna do for a long time and I'm super excited to go to more cons.
Other Stuff: I do have a lot of big plans for myself coming up, I still want to open a shop someday. My goal is to have one before next Christmas, so in about a year I want to work on my art more, so that when I do get to go to school, I have some pretty impressive things to show off. I plan on making plushies soon, gonna be buying a sewing machine this week hopefully so I'll get to work on Blink's jacket and maybe even my next cosplay. I also still plan on starting making YT vids, but I gotta see when I can get around to it. I have so many projects I want to do and goals I wanna complete and honestly I have never felt more motivated than I have recently. I also just feel pretty happy overall.

Oh and on that note, my art bloghas a new URL. The cause for the change is cause I figured it'd be my YT name and then my cosplay name as well. It'd just be easy to make my art be all in one spot.

TL;DR:

Not gonna be going to school for a while, got a 2nd job again, started cosplaying and loved it, got big plans coming up, and I'm determined and pretty happy right now.

Albeit very lazy, but alive nonetheless. Actually, I've been pretty great lately I just haven't been doing as much as I wanted to on here partially because I'm just naturally lazy, but also cause I've been having some stuff going on. Such as finally getting not one, but TWO jobs! I'm very happy about that, I work at Michaels and Old Navy now. They're both seasonal jobs but that's good cause I'll be going off to college in January anyway. Then I'll definitely have more art to post since I'm going to be an art major so

And actually I have been working on some stuff, just nothing I've been posting on here, mostly doing some practice in developing my own style and also practicing different techniques to improve my art overall. As well as planning out a photoshoot right now that I wanted to do as practice for making costumes and doing make up art, if I ever finish, those photos should be done in a few weeks.

Seeing as though I graduated on Tuesday I have nothing more I can use as an excuse for procrastinating other than me being a lazy cow But I have quite a bit of stuff that needs to be uploaded, because thankfully even though I got lazy with DA, I kept on with drawing and arting and writing so I have improved in certain skills quite a bit

Now that I'm done with high school, my goals in writing are to write a novel and have at least one published work of poetry. I really don't want to make money off of writing, it's just a fun little hobby, but it'd be really cool to be published And as for art, I hope to someday soon be able to make stuff to sell on Etsy and open to take commissions, but first I need money to buy supplies, as well as start making stuff for cosplays cause I'm dying to go to a Con in October where Dante Basco (one of my fave voice actors) shall be.

Ohh.. speaking of money and supplies,I forgot to mention, I'm hoping and praying and crossing fingers that I get a job at Michaels so I can get discounts on supplies and be more profitable if and when I get to start selling on Etsy...

Annnnddd.... that's about it, besides from the fact your gonna see a sudden flood of deviations from me later today

Ohhh and one last thing: I wanted to give a special shout out to my friends who made high school all the more bearable and I'm glad to have met you all through the years

In my last journal I made a New Year's resolution and said I'd be on here more, draw more and et cetera, et cetera. Yeahh.... that didn't happen Butttttt I've just been suddenly so busy this year between ROTC, youth group stuff and now the spring musical that I literally come home and indulge in doing nothing.

However, my time should be freed up a bit more now that I have deleted my RP blog... That in itself is a rather long and complicated story :/ I really do wish I hadn't deleted Kat's blog but... ugh....Like I said, long story...

On the bright side I have more time to focus on my art
